Who’s Driving Your Bus?

When growing up in Australia years ago I still remember the saying about “Back Seat Drivers”…

A back seat driver would sit in the back seat of the car and tell the driver of the car how to drive the car…

⁃ Your driving to slow…

⁃ Your going to fast…

⁃ Your too close to the car in front…

⁃ Turn your indicator off…

⁃ Your outside the lane…

The person in the back seat would be commenting and complaining about the way the driver was driving the car…

If you have ever been the driver in this situation it can be very annoying…

It’s similar when we talk about the bus of our life…

The bus in this case represents our life…

Some people sit at the back of the bus and complain about their life…

⁃ I’m bored…

⁃ I want better job…

⁃ I don’t like been overweight…

⁃ I can’t find a boyfriend / girlfriend…

⁃ I want to travel…

⁃ The government makes my life difficult…

Yes, they complain at the back of the bus instead of getting up, moving to the front of the bus and sitting in the drivers seat and taking charge of their life…

Listen up…

We are the driver of our life, no one else…

We own our lives and are the boss of our results…

Understand this…

We have 2 choices…

⁃ We can complain about our life at the back of the bus…or

⁃ We can take action, move to the drivers seat, take hold of the steering wheel and drive our own life…

Here’s the deal…

Make a decision to be the cause of your life, take 100% responsibility for you results and outcomes…

Step up, focus on what you want, focus on solutions and run towards it as hard and fast as you can and never stop running until your in possession of it…

Be the driver of your bus and life will never be the same again…
