The Eyes Are The Window Of The Soul

Last night I was watching a Ted Talk. of Benjamin Zander who is a very famous orchestra conductor and musical director of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra…

Benjamin was talking about the transformative power of classical music and was very colourful in his explanations, Metaphors and demonstrations…

One thing that really struck me was something he said at the end of his presentation…

Benjamin said that he likes to look into the eyes of his audience and if they have shining eyes he is happy with his communication that he delivered his message and it was well received…

On the other hand he mentioned that if their eyes are not shining I need to ask myself a very important question…

“How am I showing up for them not. to have shining eyes?”…

Hmmm…Something to think about…

The eyes are the window of the soul and we use them a lot in our communication without even saying a word…
