Magic in The Boardroom

Axel wants his staff to perform at a higher level, step up, stop complaining and do their work…

Sound familiar?…

Axel attends many meetings during the day and is under the pump, stressed as he navigates the corporate life…

As we are talking,

Axel mentioned how he lost his patience in a meeting the other day and was regretting his behavior…

Axel told the employee he was wrong, raised his voice and embarrassed the employee in front of his colleagues…

Axel loses his temper more than he likes and hasn’t made the connection to his presenting problem of his staff’s poor performance and his boardroom Behavior…

Listen up…

When Axel let’s lose his temper in the staff meetings it’s like going around the boardroom table and punching people in the face and alienating them…

Then after the meeting he wonders why the staff are resisting him…

Understand this…

How we treat people has both short and long term effects…

A better approach would be to use your Master communication skills, listen to the employee, acknowledge, then lead them in the desired direction allowing them to feel valued and ready to serve you..

This is like patting them on the back, making them feel appreciated, build rapport and team cohesiveness…

Which one would create better employee engagement and positive results in the workplace?…

Yes, I agree…

Here’s the deal…

Master your communication, work hard on your weaknesses and build your strengths…

The better you get the better your employees will become…

Do this and you will create magic in the boardroom, happy, engaged and hard working staff team members…

It’s about how we show up and manage our staff that gets our results…

Love
