Honour Your Word Honour Yourself

Yesterday I was watching a video from T Harv Ecker and he was very passionate about people keeping their word…

For example, Harv said, when you tell someone that you will meet them at 9am, you do it…

This doesn’t mean 9–15, or 9–05, or 9–01am…

It means make sure you are there at 9am…

Harv says, if you don’t Your a lier, yes if you say 9am that means 9am…

If you can’t be there at 9am don’t say that you will…

Honour your word to yourself and to others…

Now I can here you thinking to yourself, jeez Harv, if I’m a few minutes late what’s the big deal?…

The big deal is that we are creatures of HABIT and how we do anything is how you do everything…

When we don’t honour our word and respect ourselves and others it’s a downhill slide from there…

When we can respect our word regularly and build good habits we fortify our will to apply in other areas of our life…

If I can’t keep my word in simple things how will I keep it in more important areas of my life…

⁃ I will get up at 6am to exercise…to tired, sleep in…

⁃ I will not eat biscuits for a month…there was nothing else to eat so I ate them…

⁃ I will save 10% of my income to invest…needed the money for a holiday, so I spent it…
